Dear friend,
We are writing to you through this statement to explain the reasons for the change of name of our ecological search engine.
A few days ago we received an official communication from a well-known search engine, saying that the name Ecoogler could make confusion with theirs. They suggested that we should agree to change our domain.
Immediately we started thinking about how we could solve the problem and decided that indeed, the most reasonable thing was to modify the domain without losing the identity of Ecoogler.
The first idea we had was to make clearer the prefix Eco-within the new domain. Our search engine was born with a clear environmental vision and has been supporter of causes that help to protect nature. Therefore, it seemed to us essential that Eco-(with an o and not two as at present) should open the domain.
For the continuation of the new name, we resort to the international nature of the engine. For some time now, we have discovered with pleasure that we were having an increasing number of visits from the 5 continents. Therefore we thought of a pure English word and understood all over the world to finish the name. The chosen word was simply “search” so EcoSearch came out.
We also want to make clear in this statement that the philosophy of EcoSearch will remain exactly the same as that of Ecoogler, that is, to donate a significant part of our income to plans for reforestation of the planet. The only thing that changes is the name for the reasons given above. As simple as that…
We’d like to recall that Ecoogler currently collaborates with 3 associations that plant trees in the world: AquaVerde in Switzerland, Foresta in Spain and more recently, Coeur de Forêt in France.
We appreciate your attention for this statement. We hope you’d like the change of name. If so, you’d ask to pass on this statement to all your contacts so that they can do something for nature and the health of the planet. Thank you very much in advance.
The EcoSearch team

Ecoogler has just signed an agreement of collaboration with the French association Cœur de Forêt.
The group Cœur de Forêt was founded in 2001 with the aim to create economic alternatives to fight against the deforestation the planet is suffering . Its more remarkable actions have centred on the reforestation of threatened areas like Brazil or Madagascar, to fight against the climatic change or to preserve the culture of the forest populations.
At present, Cœur de Forêt are making projects of reforestation in French Guyane, Peru, Cameroon, Benin and Rwanda.
Ecoogler has been donating half of its income to other two associations (AquaVerde in Switzerland and Foresta in Spain). With Cœur de Forêt, the ecological search engine opens another line of collaboration in France. The donations are used to finance projects of reforestation in different parts of the world.

The ecological search engine Ecoogler has signed an agreement of collaboration with Fundación Foresta. Thanks to this agreement, Foresta will be able to plant more than 1.200 trees on threatened ecosystems at Canaries, like “elbosque termófilo, Monteverde or Laurisilva”.
Fundación Foresta celebrates in 2008 its 10 years of existence. Since then, Foresta has repopulated more than 250 hectares of forest, as well as agricultural private estates and municipal areas all over the Canarie Islands.

Ecoogler is a search engine that uses Yahoo technology and helps reforesting trees and safeguard water resources in the Amazon region, which constitute today one fourth of the fresh water reserves of our planet. Ecoogler is now signing agreements with other reforestation agencies to help planting trees all across the planet.
By using Ecoogler you get same results and help the non-profit association Aquaverde founded in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2002.
Thanks for your support!!!!!!!
